Apple reaping the rewards as iPhone goes global

Apple shares have reached an all-time high of $254 after going up 6% with the global launch of the iPhone  mobile phone device. Quarterly results show that revenue is up 50% on the same period from last year, whilst profit is up a massive 90%. What’s more, the figures released do not even take into account iPad sales, which are expected to add another $1bn of revenue! The iPad has sold 500,000 units in the US since being released less than a month ago, with a UK release expected sometime...
